Poly-Fusing

This example is taken from an area, which is comprised entirely of government resurvey lots, each of which has its own polygon and text label. For clarity, we have not shown the lessee interests because they would obscure the tract outlines. When we implement our automated poly-fusing feature based on Lease Number, the same area looks like this.

Note: Poly-fusing is coming soon. Please check with us for availability.

After Poly-Fusing

Notice how all the small polygons have been combined into larger ones based on lease number and how the small confusing polygons and all their text labels have been distilled into one label per lease. Notice too that the new poly-fused polygons can cross section lines. Keep in mind that we can poly-fuse any field in a dataset. For instance, we can combine all unit records having the same unit name to quickly display and label all units in an area. Likewise, we could combine all records sharing a common depth code and display the result as an outline on top of all affected areas on your map. We could even extend this idea to see which areas have multiple overlapping depths or pay zones.
