Our Land-Study maps allow you to comprehend complex data relationships within the context of their surroundings so that you can make informed decisions. There are hundreds of ways to analyze and display your data. Here are just a few things we can show:

  • All leases having a rental due in the next calendar month; outline those leases in red if they do not contain a pugh clause.
  • All fee tracts less than 100% leased, or having a certain critical working or net revenue interest.
  • Leases affected by federal stipulations as they relate to various seasons of the year. For example, all leases within a 600-foot radius of a nesting site could be automatically shown in red color during Spring but then change to green when the same map is viewed or printed during Fall.
  • All wells drilled within a 10-mile radius of a proposed drillsite but only if they passed through a certain target depth; show all others in black.
  • Each soon-to-expire federal lease affecting more than one section in order to determine where best to drill in order to hold the most acreage.
  • Oil or gas pipelines to determine proximity of proposed drillsites.
  • All tracts where a target acquisition company owns any leasehold or working interest.

We make it easy by doing all the data interpretation and then presenting a completed Land-Study map to you.

Keys to a Comprehensive Land-Study

Your data must contain the answers before any answers can be displayed on a map. For example, you cannot ask to see all tracts having less than 80% NRI unless your data contain NRI values.

We can also use third-party data to further enhance your map, things like well spots, topography and more. Consistency is everything. In order to get good answers, your data must be consistent. Typos and misspellings cause queries to miss important information. Our proven quality control measures can help you there.
